How long have Laura Wright been dating with Wes Ramsey?

Soap operas have no shortage of couples who have met as co-stars and have established relationships with one another. A couple is currently enjoying their romance behind the scenes on the General Hospital set: Laura Wright (who plays Carly Corinthos) and Wes Ramsey (who plays Peter August).

For a while now Wright and Ramsey have been together but not every fan knows when they began dating. Read on below to learn more on the relationship between Wright and Ramsey.

Wright and Ramsey may now be co-stars of the General Hospital, but they did appear on another soap opera. The two of them first got acquainted on the show Guiding Light in the early 2000s, where Wright played Cassie Layne Winslow, and Ramsey played Sam Spencer.

Wright was at the time married to her ex-husband, John Wright, so she did not develop a romantic relationship with Ramsey. In fact, after they both left Guiding Light, the two co-stars had not seen each other much.

Wright and Ramsey, though, bumped into each other again at an Emmy party in 2017. Wright had been divorced for a year this time so things were different between her and Ramsey.

Although Wright and Ramsey did not talk to each other for a long time, Ramsey revealed in 2018 that Wright made a lasting impression on him from their time working together.

Speaking to Soaps In Depth, he said: "I have felt for twenty years that she is one of the best actors and one of the most beautiful people I have ever seen."

He also recalled a time when his sister-in - law 's mother was watching the General Hospital, "stopping in my tracks" "I picked up the remote the moment her scene ended, paused it and said, 'I remember that woman,'" Ramsey shared.

He added: "Was Laura  manifested in my life, too? I've enamored my whole life with that woman, and the next thing you know, we've been at a Daytime Emmy party. It was hugs and laughter and we’ve been inseparable ever since! ”

It's not clear when Wright and Ramsey began dating but in May 2017 they first became public with their relationship. Also, they recall the day they once again bumped into each other at the Emmy party as very different.

The relationship between the couple seems to continue to be solid, with some fans even speculating they could be engaged or expect a baby together. However, those rumors have been denied by Wright and Ramsey, and it looks as if they are simply happy with the way their lives are at the moment.
