Despite having "undeniable chemistry" on a recent date in Las Vegas, "Real Housewives of Orange County" alum Meghan King and Bachelor Nation star Mike Johnson are "just pals," a source exclusively reveals to Page Six.
According to a source, "They are happy to know each other now and had a great time together." But it's only platonic as far as a relationship is concerned.
The creators of King's "Intimate Knowledge with Meghan King" iHeartRadio podcast, which delves deeply into issues relating to relationships and sex, lined up the two stars.
Later, fans will discover more about King and Johnson's sultry journey to Sin City, which also involved a stop at a strip club. They met up during the iHeartRadio Music Festival celebrations in 2022.
King, 37, and Johnson, 34, hung out on Thursday at a podcast party at Green Valley Ranch Resort & Casino before this weekend's shows.
King and Johnson traveled to Crazy Horse 3 later that evening. There, the attractive Air Force veteran and the blonde beauty were seen making intimate eye contact.
King sat on Johnson's lap as the two watched an intimate performance by an exotic dancer, as seen in video footage that TMZ was given access to. They even kissed at one point, according to E! News, while holding hands.
In a subsequent lovely Instagram post, King gushed about Johnson. "Look who I found at the Vegas @iheartradio festival! My new favorite is @mike johnson! She captioned a picture of the couple posing together closely. Our source informs us that despite the flirting, "They're friends and coworkers."
Still, during a Friday night appearance on iHeartRadio, King and Johnson embraced for the cameras.
The pair socialized with a variety of reality TV stars before locking arms on the red carpet, including Drew Sidora of "Real Housewives of Atlanta," Teddi Mellencamp of "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," and former "Bachelor" star Bob Guiney.
Days after she dismissed two restraining orders against her ex-husband Jim Edmonds, King started dating Johnson.
King, who divorced Edmonds, 52, in May 2021, initially requested a temporary restraining order in June, claiming that he had verbally abused her "often and consistently."
Edmonds has categorically refuted the allegations. Additionally, the filing was "totally bogus," according to the retired athlete's agent Steve Honig, who spoke with TMZ.
King also asked for a child protective order against Edmonds in addition to the restraining order, but it was not granted. Both orders were canceled this week by her lawyers.
King has relied on her close friends and family, notably her model brother RJ King and publicist Anthony Lario, for assistance. During a recent business trip to New York City to promote "Intimate Knowledge," the two guys traveled with her.
Meghan previously told Page Six, "I adore working and being in the city. "Putting your nose to the grindstone is always the best strategy."
